Discover the history of dogs and mushers in Alaska, from the 1925 Serum Run to the Iditarod of today.  Hear the ‘tail’ of Balto’s life, from his early days as a freight-hauling husky, to his sudden rise as a hero to the residents of Nome—delivering life-saving diphtheria antitoxin to children in need.  Uncover the Cleveland connection to Balto and how he has become the "spokes dog" for this unique event in US history.
